Rainbow Moon Trading 136 (RMT) is a construction company established in 2004, formed and directed by a young vibrant woman Emily Chabedi. Rainbow Moon Trading 136 is located in Rustenburg in the North-West Province.
Our main focus is on general building and civil construction, community based programmes, environmental rehabilitation (land erosion control) and environmental restoration. We recently extended our services to wetlands rehabilitation projects where we specialize with earthworks, gabion constructions, fencing, landscaping and re-vegetation to assist in greening and preserving water.
Emily is a young black woman, 41 years born in the North-West Province in Klerksdorp. She studied Marketing Management with UNISA and also completes environmental wetland training course on delineation, legislation and rehabilitation at Pretoria University (Tukkies). She has completed studying Certificate in Project Management with Damelin, currently studying Diploma in business management through UNISA.
Emily also holds a national certificate on Construction Management & Training Systems with CETA Accreditation no: 5P5459. In 2003 she obtain from KYTS Certificates of CETA skills training, where she passed courses on excavate backfill and compacting of trenches, re-instating base course surfaces, lay small areas of stone pitching, construction of brick manhole, etc.
She also completed a course on SMME Training where she successfully passed courses like starting your own constructing business, pricing and tender, management of your own resources, building support structure, completion of contracts, etc. These courses were funded by Rustenburg Local Municipality for contractor’s development training.
Among other certificates, Emily also completed training and assessment in Fire Fighting and Health & Safety at Wings Training Centre, and First Aid Level 2 at Life Star First Aid Training in 2005
Rainbow Moon Trading has two project managers who are currently working and trained within the company and has completed work satisfactorily in the past two years of the projects implementations, one Administrator who joined us August 2016 and one Civil engineering technician who joined us January 2017.
All the project managers are experienced in the norms of working for wetlands projects and have been working on several projects since the RMT started implementation of the programmes and we have all successfully managed the projects. More training and skills to be continuously done on a regular basis to create a sterling team that will enhance company profile and knowledgeable team.
She is a dynamic young woman aged 21 and responsible for the total administration of RMT projects since September 2011. She has studied financial accounting, information systems and is currently on her second year studying B.Com Economics through University of South Africa.
Her duties are as follows: preparation of documents, ordering of materials and other resources for the projects, taking minutes during projects meeting, typing and filing, project progress reporting, liaising with project managers and suppliers and all the other duties for the projects.
Mpho Wilheminah Mokwena started working with the company as a contractor for Thangasi Environmental Projects for 3 years and continued to work under RMT after it took over from the previous implementer in 2014. She has been promoted to project manager position from this year 2016 and will be managing Waterberg Wetlands for. She has an extensive experience in the rehabilitation of the wetlands as she has shown high quality of construction knowledge and has been assisting through site management whilst working as a contractor. She has good management and leadership skills as shown through her team leadership on site in the programme.
Gaopalelwe Mosweu started working in this programme in 2012 as a contractor for Rainbow Moon Trading 136 in Mareetsane; he has extensive knowledge of technicality in this work. He has joined the RMT team in 2011 as an intern and he was trained and empowered before he started working as a contractor at Mareetsane for RMT Wetlands project implementation. He is still been trained internally and through other institutions to can achieve the level of all the necessities to can be able to perform his duties accordingly.
He has been trained in first aid and health and safety level 1 together with internal project management and have the ability to manage the teams and work according to the requirements and showing a lot of improvement in terms of work ability.
Goitseone is a dynamic young woman who is responsible for the total administration of RMT projects since August 2016 hence she took over Kelebohile Chabedi.
Her duties are as follows: preparation of documents, ordering of materials and other resources for the projects, taking minutes during projects meeting, typing and filing, project progress reporting, liaising with project managers and suppliers and all the other duties for the projects.
Thandokuhle is a graduate in civil engineering which he obtained at Durban University of Technology. He is a young man with deadline driven, ability to work within a team and independently, ability to prioritize, creative positive thinker, excellent interpersonal skills, and proactive personality.
He has gained experience in both construction and consulting industry. He has gained experience in the operation of various engineering soft wares (Auto Cad, Civil design & Prokon). He has gained experience in the preparation of drawings, preparation of tender documents, site supervision, and contract administration.
He was then appointed by RMT January 2017 to work as a Technical manager.
